I was raised in a traditional Chinese family, lost my mom in my early teens, and learned to be a really good people pleaser.  For most of my life I was leaf blowing in the wind, unaware of what would make me happy, and lost as to how to achieve it.  I always felt like something was missing, like I didn't know an integral concept, and then I found what a healthy mind, body, emotions and spirit could be.

I started to find out who I was.  Luckily at that point, I had blown into working in the non-profit sector where my business savvy could be put to good use.  It's always been important for me to serve where I can.

After having kids, I had to redesign and get down to who I really wanted to be.  I had received coaching early in my career and it had always stuck with me - the ability for me to find not the right answer, but MY answer!  Coaching not only helped to know who I am, but helps me to own it, and be conscious of my choices.

I am a trained Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) with the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI), certified Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaches Federation (ICF), and completed over 25 hours of Somatic Coach training through Coaches Rising whose instructors are from the Strozzi Institute of Embodied Leadership and other leaders in somatic coaching.

I have a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary Business School, majoring in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.  I have spent over 10 years in the non-profit sector as a program manager and consultant.

The company name of Cedar Mountain Coaching and Consulting pays tribute to my children, whom I most cherish.  It also reflects my grounding place; outdoors and nature.  I love how nature flows and everything in it is interconnected; so mysterious and majestic, yet vulnerable and honest.  Seemingly dichotomy living in harmony.
